Stereolab Mars Audiac Quintet

recently rediscovered with this and "Transient random noise.." they have fantastic ideas, great album even if not a masterpiece. But they give me the idea of a band that basically doesn't give a damn about doing things that could be considered masterpieces.. they play the same thing straight for 6 minutes, and you can tell they really enjoy doing it that way. Rightly so.

Unfortunately, I was absent due to lack of funds... several people have confirmed what you said: fantastic, especially the drummer, but a bit long-winded. As for the audience, I can imagine that the standard was the combination you described; thank you very much for the report! :-)
The 13th Floor Elevators Easter Everywhere

great 13th floor elevators.. I've always found them a bit tough, even more than the more experimental (and immense) Red Crayola, but great!
Afterhours I milanesi ammazzano il sabato
Voto:
I haven't listened to them, but your description of Afterhours fully resonates with me. So I vote for the review.

Offlaga Disco Pax Bachelite

I found the review quite enjoyable, but regarding the album, even though it’s true that it improves with repeated listens, I still hold the same opinion: it’s definitely a step down from the debut; it lives off past glories and already flirts with self-congratulatory vibes. Anyway, just to change things up, I agree with Alessio: we have plenty of pure shit celebrators like Baustelle on this site, and there's a lot of gossip about Offlaga, which is certainly open to any opinion, but which, musically, seem to me to be ultimately honest (what the hell do you have to play in Italy to not come off as snobbish rich kids or, on the contrary, complete idiots?), without having done anything to provoke "extreme" responses.

I love it.. I haven't listened to this album all the way through, but there was a piece from here that I liked a lot, but I can't remember which one.
