beautiful heartfelt review! I'm sorry I didn't go to Flog here in Florence.

Optimistic? They seemed quite paranoid to me... never liked them much, I didn't hear this one, but I heard the single and it seemed embarrassing to me.

I don’t know.. I thought it was a great movie.. and Servillo was outstanding.

The only thing I don't quite agree with is your insistence on hypocrisy.. I think the only moment when this truly comes through is in the interview with the suited family man on the train.. for the rest, I believe that Pasolini mainly focuses on naïveté and a cultural backwardness that, regardless of the economic differences (and thus education and lifestyle) between the north and the south, is present throughout Italy.

Hi Gabri! :-)
A friend of mine brought it from New York.. I agree with the comment above.. not exceptional but decent.

Well, to me, pornography seems overrated.. and then Robert Mith is a chubby, moody guy much better represented by the little animals he paints here than by the nonsense of the earlier records :-)

I haven't listened to it much because it didn't impress me, so I promise to give it another listen. However, it's also true that it didn't grab me on the first try :-) It seems a bit like the usual "scrambled eggs," turned over a bit so they don't seem too pointless.

the more I listen to them, the more they are for me the greatest Italian band around: I've reassessed this... certainly less enterprising and more fluctuating compared to others... but it has a dark, subtle atmosphere that still makes it not irrelevant. 3.5
Steven Spielberg Indiana Jones e il regno del teschio di cristallo

The diva...great movie! :-) As for this, I completely agree with your review: the only scene truly worthy of its predecessors for the perfect blend of brilliant (and slightly surreal) irony and action is the sequence in the fake town "nuclear martyr"...for the rest, really bland. At least from Spielberg, one could have expected a more engaging direction.
