aah ahahahah : D ..you crack me up, Manu, you’re just too much.. : D it’s so obvious how much my review of the DT burns you, so obviously that it’s almost endearing, really... or rather, maybe I actually feel sorry for you.. the funny thing is that it’s clear you haven’t listened to this album, and that’s what will always set us apart: my supposed disrespect is backed up, yours isn’t, it’s just the sulking of an offended little kid.. it’s pretty pathetic, really..

There are hundreds of talented names out there, Maisa, more than enough for a whole evening... : ) I might not understand a damn thing, but if understanding means appreciating Muse, neglected and useless purveyors of cheap rhetoric, I'd gladly stay in my ignorance.

Thanks to everyone, anyway : ) ..Zigghio, the first one is Tink of Southeast.. after a lot of patience spent I managed to find that one online too, if you want I now have the complete discography of Unrest.

in the end she is right, dear Wrecking Ball, it's pointless to continue discussions based on dates, it would be sad. The pleasure was mutual anyway ; )

Kosmo, you who adore fugazi, YOU CANNOT not have something from Unrest : ) ...if you can, find the first ones, otherwise I'll send them!

Sorry, but what do Bad Brains, aside from coming from Washington, have to do with Unrest and Fugazi? It seemed to me that you were making a point more related to Post-Hardcore, rather than Hardcore in general.. I see you've already toned it down ; ) ..so we should also include Minutemen, but above all, we should include much more innovative bands (in the sense of being more cross-genre and much more influential for the '90s) like Squirrel Bait, contemporaries of Unrest themselves, if dates aren't just an opinion..

Well, opinions... you probably didn't hear the cures very well, but that's another story... the fact that it's even legitimate to copy, I completely disagree with you, but that's a pretty long discussion too... I seem to have been overly reasonable, at least somewhat logical, as radical as it may be... bye.

I merely observe that the debut EP of Fugazi dates back to 1988. And I merely point out, as already mentioned in a review that you evidently did not read with due attention, that Unrest as such, meaning not as primitive formations different from the group that was subsequently formed, see Rites of Spring and Minor Threat, have existed since 1984. From here, you may draw your own logical conclusions, or if you prefer, you could refresh your memory on some dates. ; )

Well no, I was saying you because lately Giorgio had also entered the discussion... anyway, I don't hate the DT fans at all (just like no one else, for that matter)... if you read above, you can see a bunch of them with whom we have (more or less) come to mutually respect each other. ;) Cheers.
