Dream Theater Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From a Memory

Orion, Orion, but who quoted "Great Gig in the Sky"? Don't you see that you're the one deciding what you read... :-) ...really pathetic... I was actually referring to the fact, as you can well imagine since the choirs are IDENTICAL in how they are used within the piece to those in "spirit carries.." to the backing vocals in "brain damage". As for the solo, I understand that this might really piss you off, but there’s a passage that is truly identical. Listen to both pieces again and you’ll notice it. Of course, I can't tell you the exact moment within the piece. I haven't listened to it in a while and I have no intention of revisiting it. Regarding the fact that I would speak like an ignorant person, well, that's obviously a relative concept... :-) at least I'm saying something instead of barking... "filthy heresies" ahahah :-D you guys are truly fanatics.

"You climb on wordplay"... hehehe, poor thing, you obviously didn’t understand anything; no wordplay, a very clear opinion to which you evidently don’t know how to respond; otherwise, you would do it instead of taking it with such inflated emphasis. "You understand little or nothing about DTs" damn it! Enlighten me :-D so far you have done it consistently and with great detail, I must say; a historical analysis accurate and precise. You see, it’s from your third post that I understood how there is no longer any possible dialogue between you and me; you would expect (something I believed you were well above) to consider my opinions debatable as such. Not only have you limited yourself to criticisms so far, but now faced with the latest things I’ve written, you even go so far as to simply deny them, with statements like "you’re out of touch with reality" or the one above "you understand nothing about DTs." But this only highlights your obvious embarrassment in the face of statements that not only can you not accept as opinions, but that you are (and probably have never been) able to compensate with YOUR point of view. We're just not on the same page...

Ah right, instead you told me: :-D you, like millions of other people, find it huge in rock. Enlightening statement. So excuse me? If I disagree, I’d like to understand the problem... well..

Ah, then you throw in the pathetic story of the "pimpled teenager" :-D... how low one can fall when consumed by spite, and yet I didn't expect that from you. But what are you saying? What are you rambling about? I've expressed an opinion, by the way from someone who is in the field since I've been playing the drums for nine years. The only thing you managed to do was cite surveys and historically inaccurate claims. If I see it this way, the only thing you should do is tell me your view, but yours, not the surveys on Portnoy, explain to me why his incredible style would be so enlightening... the only thing you could say, in response to an opinion that might be radical but still valid, was the story about the "pimpled teenager"... how sad...

point 2) no. Don’t argue anything. The difference between you and someone like Mario is obvious: he criticizes my statements but adds HIS point of view, his vision, his opinions. You don’t: you simply play the role of the public accuser; you desperately and pathetically try to find every little loophole possible in my sentences, words, posts to attack, criticize, question. But you say nothing. You haven’t expressed anything, except that Potrnov was voted best drummer for ten consecutive years and other pointless trivialities like that.

point 1) I tried to explain it to you; if you can’t grasp it, so be it. I’ve already said everything that needed to be explained; the only thing you keep saying is to compulsively repeat that I would have said two different things. Clearly, you can't accept other people's opinions, and just as clearly, you started with a bias. You keep repeating that every sentence is different from the others: but if you keep insisting on needing clarifications each time, it's obvious that they will be different :-) …in return, every clarification has the only effect, to this simply delirious extent, of producing the exact same statement: "but you said different sentences!" You're happy, but I’m tired of this game.

hahaha Orion, what laughter, what laughter.. :-D I truly sympathize with you: after reading your posts in one breath and having a great time, I can't help but conclude that I should feel sorry for you: you see, the most ridiculous thing is that you're talking to me about spite.. ahaha :-D oh well, let's forget that and let's begin:

hahahah, snob.. that's a good one :-D a bit "made up" as a criticism, but if it suits you...

Matt, I was referring to your previous posts a bit higher up... anyway, there's no problem commenting on the live. But has it already come out? Bye!

Furthermore, Orion argues that from simple contact there occurs a fusion: false; a fusion requires a reworking (indeed) of what is brought together. But this does not happen: the stylistic elements of metal remain stylistic elements of metal, just as the elements of progressive remain just that. There is no accommodation to these elements, that is, no change in one's approach in order to organize new and different stimuli; there is only assimilation, pedantic reproduction, widespread heterogeneity.
