Thank you!

Yes, but if in the end it only makes sense for you to do it (aside from the plethora of forum interpretations, of course), then why publish it? Do it just for yourself... In any case, I have no doubt it hits the head... even Eraserhead hit the head, and the stomach for that matter, but despite being completely surreal, it allowed for an interpretation, however subjective and amorphous, still immediate. It was, in a way, communicative.

You know that I completely agree with you? In fact, you must have noticed that I wrote this more or less.. too bad that the last one seems a bit like a joke, perhaps intended, but not very successful :)

wow, even sacrilegious… monothematic means "all the same," it didn’t seem hard to understand… what can you do, I see them this way, I can't stand them, I can't stand the voice. To me, they are like the titles of their albums. But all of this is, of course, purely subjective. In any case, I didn't seek out this comparison, and I was just trying to say that Fugazi, and especially their members, have been a bit germinal perhaps even for the same Jesus Lizard, considering the latter to be so much superior, wanting to refer to historical issues.

Interesting.. that works too (I don’t really like the original bands much either) but let’s go tell it to Squirrel Bait, to Steve Albini, and who knows, maybe to Jesus Lizard and let’s see what they say about Black Flag, Minor Threat, and Embrace.

Yes, but in the "indie-punk little group" there was someone who helped invent indie and completely overturned the rules of punk...

musically speaking, we're talking about one of the most one-dimensional bands in history (jesus lizard) against a group that has invented a style while changing their skin with each album, composed of two musicians (mckaye and Picciotto) who, in the early '80s, created a genre, an approach, even a philosophy. Yes, you're right, there's really no comparison.
