Alright, maybe I expressed myself poorly. Anyway, I want to clarify two things: 1) I DID NOT DISCOVER R.E.M. THANKS TO MTV as someone has insinuated for no reason! I want that to be clear! 2) Chronic Town is from 1982 (as I stated, please consult the biography "REM FICTION" regarding this), and I don't write reviews about R.E.M. only for those who know R.E.M., so in my opinion, this review has been read by fans and not by R.E.M. followers; the former might know Chronic Town, the latter might not. I didn't thank MTV...maybe you should reread the review. When I wrote "thank you MTV," it was another sarcastic way of saying that the television network has taken notice of the band, spreading their music (losing my religion) and making it appealing even to those who listen to Tiziano Ferro from morning to night. Do you get the idea? I would never underestimate the audience, which is why I reviewed an unknown EP for many.
