Of course I knew them, X OCRAM. I didn't bring my mother because that day she was doing things way more brutal than a brutal concert (and there was also grind in the mix, and she's not really into grind), like plucking a chicken or cleaning up the vomit I left on the floor after getting drunk at the last brutal concert. STOOPID, thank you very much. CRONOS, what can I say, the Sinister sucked, big time! The setlist was terrible, the best were our locals even though I didn't like Cadaveric.

I fully agree with Vincent Valentine, better known as det som engang var, somewhere between aske and this one (for my tastes already too atmospheric). The review isn't bad.

The rating only goes to the review since I have never listened to the album in question.

Of the burning Swedes, I only appreciate the debut "Lunar Strain", the only one truly definable as "melodic death metal" and closer to At The Gates and early Dark Tranquillity. "The Jester Race", "Clayman", "Colony", and all the albums from that period I find to be the most insipid. Something nice returned in "Soundtrack to Your Escape" and in the one before that I can't remember the name of. In any case, in this genre, I much prefer Dark Tranquillity, equally capable of withstanding the onslaught of time without completely distorting the canons of Swedish death (considering that In Flames are also among its founders).

third eye....the review strikes me as yet another attempt to formalize the band's proposal, attributing merits to it that (in my opinion) it doesn't have: as a sfascia, I've never appreciated this group, and the reasons for its success, as well as the extremely positive critiques it receives, remain incomprehensible to me. Well....nothing to say about the style you used; the review is well written.
Gorgoroth Pentagram

No, death will come back in style too, I’m home for a week......BUT STILL; Gorgoroth are really a mediocre band...if only they knew how to play a bit....I don’t know their debut anyway and I’ll refrain from voting..I liked the review, you can't take the last sentence the wrong way.

Thank you all for the generous comments and votes... the wrecking vote, then (an authentic old-school metalhead despite having repented in age) truly flatters me. Thanks also to FIDIA... X GEN NORIEGA my sister isn't that much of a metalhead... she prefers hard rock... thanks also to S4DOLL.

Dear Ale, given that I've never been too fond of Obituary, "world demise" is really quite ugly, nothing compared to the first three (which already didn’t blow me away much). If you like old school, get yourself Baphomet and Benediction.
