Twisted Into Form Then Comes Affliction To Awaken The Dreamer

I don't know them, but the fact that they're inspired by Kierkegaard's philosophy intrigues me... the prog though, no Matt, I'm sorry...
Intestinal Disgorge Drowned In Rectal Sludge

Anyway deathinaugust... speaking of ridiculous black metal bands, you can't miss Moothunderforce (and if I remember correctly, Bilsnirkir, with whom they did a split). I don't know about any other ridiculous black bands.

So... thank you all... fallen (yes, in fact it’s a bit of a stretch, let’s say it refers more to the title than to the character, although if I think about it—I'll preface this by saying that when I wrote it I wasn't thinking about it—it could also be an ironic allusion to the refined tastes of Des Esseintes and those "super refined" tastes of those who defend Intestinal Disgorge). Thank you ocram, aniel (come on, how can you not laugh at something so disgusting), lethe, geeno, galakordi, zion, black metal, deathinaugust (I knew that these underground things were your bread and butter).

schuldiner81, but you are crazy... to say that the live version is terrible is madness... crazy...
As Hope Dies Legions Bow To A Faceless God

I don't really like Dark Lunacy either... I saw them at Gods of Metal 2004 and they didn’t impress me. However, in my opinion, Ozzy’s Lunar Strain is one of the best melodeath albums ever composed. For me, In Flames died with Clayman (if not even with some tracks from The Jester Race).
Suffocation Effigy Of The Forgotten

I love the title track, thrones of blood and suspended in tribulation... but seed of suffering, effigy of the forgotten, jesus wept... unbeatable and unsurpassed.

Thank you, Lord Nazgul. I gladly give you the review of "Suicide In Dark Serenity": it’s an album that I can't appreciate, and I'm sure you'll come up with something better.
Enthroning Silence Unnamed Quintessence Of Grimness

So, deathinaugust, in my opinion the influences are more from Abyssic Hate than Burzum (which in turn took them from Burzum). I was actually re-listening to the album today (I swear) because I discouraged it vocally yesterday. But there's a catch... I had listened to it a year ago when I was barely into black metal; re-listening to it now, it's a three/four-star album. It's not very inspired, and the remarkable passages are really few, while the others are nice but nothing more.
