Dear Carlino, you know that you've chosen exactly the wrong person to have this discussion with. I am absolutely convinced that we must always push the boundaries further. It doesn’t matter if we do it through technique, contamination, or simply extremism; what matters is to do it. We just need to get closer and closer to a perfect portrait of human malaise. In my opinion, metal is what you're talking about, while rock is just rock, a spectacle machine, a pyrotechnic effect, and mass concert music. Metal goes beyond spectacle; it starts from a feeling and then evolves into a spectacle, not the other way around. Anyway, I really appreciate your reflection even though it disagrees with my thoughts.

Oh, the Ulver... I don’t like them, I find that mixing black with traditional sounds is always a big risk, even if it perhaps represents a more genuine adherence to the philosophy preached by this genre. Personally, I don’t like how Ulver does it. The review, as always, is excellent. The album is still sufficient.

raw black, unrecognizable the ft. A group I loved, adored but whose sincerity I still doubt. Very talented as musicians but I co-sign what norvheim said. I still believe they stand out significantly in the black scene.

I wanted to review o i manegarm myself, but honestly, I don't have the right skills to do so. Good, concise, and effective. A very unique group and a pretty good album, but you have to love the sounds they offer.
