Beautiful, well done. I also miss this EP... hey, Vito, since you know everything about Katatonia, I find myself in possession of an EP (I think) called Scarlet Heavens... what year is it from?

I won't get angry, bro, I've been spending my life arguing with people who say that the music I like is noise pollution. I think that Death metal is nothing but the consequence of Thrash metal, more violent, darker, but still the same thing. Brutal Death, on the other hand, I think it's the real innovation; maybe it can sound like noise, but I'm sure that if you take a look at (for example) Suffocation's tabs, you'll agree that they're great musicians. It's just a matter of musical taste. I like Entombed and the early Dark Throne works, but they'll never manage to make me feel what Technical Death metal does. Although, I really like the depressive black metal scene, and I'd be grateful to you if you could suggest me something.

this time I don't agree with you...oh my, as long as your criticism is directed only at the Cannibal (an average of 3 decent songs per album) it's fine, but extending it to all death seems a bit excessive to me

Well, I was fascinated by some reviews about Satyricon's first full length, Nemesis Divina, and I got it full of hopes... When I first listened to it, I felt like someone had pulled my leg... I got angry, I was disappointed... I expected something more crushing, more desperate and full of hate...

Hi fjeltronen... I just read what you wrote: you've been listening only to something very melodic. If you liked that stuff, then go and listen to some of Dissection's works. You'll find out what "black death" means! I also suggest you listen to Unanimated, one of the most important Melo Death bands ever. If you'd like to hear something that hurts more, then ask me and I'm sure I'll find you something to blast your ears with. Stay sick.

thank you all...look at Cronos, give it a listen...and if you want a tip, also focus on the years 1998-2002...aniel, I always try to review new things to broaden the perspectives (within the limits of the genre)...
