This album is a mix of good songs and very weak tracks. I wouldn’t consider it the best of Vasco's production, rather the beginning of his decline.

Despite the enormous shadow of the father, the album in question is beautiful. Great review, perhaps a bit too harsh in its judgment.

Beautiful review for a beautiful album. As for the comments above, many of us believe that Genesis maintained their dignity and artistic validity even in the two albums following Gabriel's departure. In my opinion, Hackett's departure was more traumatic... Afterwards, they transformed into a group with very different characteristics.
