A delicate and intimate review. The sound of her Fender took you far away...

No More Lies, “almost a copy of Fear Of The Dark”? Wildest Dreams “a copy of the very recent The Wickerman”? Face In The Sand, “practically identical in every way to Brave New World”? I believe we may have heard different songs… The chord progressions in the latest albums are very similar, now a trademark, but creativity is evident in the construction of the melodies, which are absolutely original. If you tell me they are identical, consult some musicians and they’ll give you their take. Furthermore, you claim that Age of Innocence is a “calm piece”… perhaps you’ve only heard the beautiful introduction by Murray! Dance Of Death… “it’s saved by the ever-original use of notes that have characterized 25 years of Iron Maiden”? That seems to me to be a very confused musical statement… The album is certainly open to criticism, but your analysis seems quite fragile. If you’re reviewing an album that has been commented on by others, at least try to add something new compared to the other reviews.

Thank you so much, JimMorrison, for clarifying what happened. After all the effort I put into reviewing the album, it would have felt like a real slap in the face to be labeled a "scripted" person. The worst part is that after such an insinuation, no apologies come from francy...

On Wikipedia, YOU WON'T FIND MY REVIEW. Check it out yourself: Tales from Topographic Oceans - Wikipedia
What you find on this link is mostly based on the album notes, which I referenced in my review. There is nothing regarding the analysis that I conducted of the album. Before throwing venom at me, inform yourselves and judge for yourselves.

Perfect review for an unremarkable album.

Unquestionably beautiful album. The review has been penalized by the inexplicably tight ratings from the first commentators. Congratulations, Charley.
