They are completely different records; how can you compare them? Amused to Death is a very complex work, the masterpiece of Waters as a solo artist, but in this album, for example, I don’t find the crystal-clear melodies present in this album. Amused to Death is painful and cerebral, On an Island is dreamlike and relaxed... don’t you think we need all of these in life just as in art? The summation of it all is Wish You Were Here (the album)!

It's a matter of taste. I prefer Amazing Pudding (the live version of Atom Heart Mother) to the orchestral version. They seem more genuine and less contrived to me. As for Geesin's work, I really like the choirs, even though they can be a bit eccentric at times.

In love, there is no command. If we consider Gilmour's solo career, this album deserves a 5. If we compare it to the works of the band, it loses a bit. It’s a dreamy album full of love: for some, this is a flaw, for others, like me, the way Mr. Gilmour has expressed these feelings is fantastic. As for the mentioned Cluster One, I can say that I find it nothing short of fantastic. Gilmour's bad tracks are things like Dogs of War and Blue Light... On the other hand, I only like Atom Heart Mother in parts... too pompous is Mr. Geesin's brass orchestra. Moreover, I remember that Waters stated: "I wouldn’t play it live even for ten million pounds. I don’t want to play that rubbish anymore!" Gilmour, on the other hand, said: "I wouldn’t mind if they threw it down the toilet and pulled the chain!" Despite everything, I love Atom, but I definitely love its authors less.

I instead firmly support the use of track-by-track descriptions. For me, music is effort and research, so the same commitment should be found in both the writer and the reader; after all, if one is not very interested, they only read the rating.
P.S. Missfire is really bad, Deacon starts poorly as a songwriter. Moreover, I agree with Masahiro: Queen 2 is fantastic, definitely superior to this.

In 1998 he came to Palermo to the Biondo theater, and I, a first-year university student, didn’t have the money for the ticket (about 80,000 lire). I said to myself, "It's okay, there will be a next time." Among other things, I had just started listening to him and falling in love; it was a young love and it couldn't just disappear like that. A few months later, I found tears in my eyes in front of a newspaper that announced his death…
Greg Howe, Victor Wooten, Dennis Chambers Extraction

Look, Howe's early albums possess a great expressiveness; later on, however, he moved into a cerebral but inhuman hypersonic dimension.

Who knows why they don't invite Howe to the G3... Stunning album, but the rejection risk is very high, indeed extremely high!

Have you listened to the albums I mentioned earlier? As soon as you do, you’ll see I’m right...
