I mean, excuse me a bit: they never gave me anything (which is different for other grunge groups) and I’ve always seen them as characters, not musicians. Many people definitely like them, but it’s a matter of taste. For me, Cobain was a jerk. Just like many people think metalheads are jerks and metal is crap. The difference is: I’ve listened to and played Nirvana, while the many hypocrites who judge metal as crap have never actually listened to it.
