superintruder, I apologize, you are right, I made a mistake in writing... indeed "ascesa" means that it is rising in popularity, which is something that Prog was not in 1977. I meant to say that in that year it is declining in attention and popularity... maybe I meant to say "discesa". eDitors can you correct it????
