Let me give you some more information! As you may have noticed from the name "Acqua Fragile," it's an Italian band. They were active in the early '70s and, of course, they play Prog Rock. Acqua Fragile stands out from other bands of the time due to their choice to sing in English, thanks to the good command of the language by the singer Bernardo Lanzetti. Lanzetti's voice is particularly reminiscent of Peter Gabriel's, but despite this, Acqua Fragile would last no more than a couple of years, releasing only two albums. One piece of advice: LISTEN TO THEM!

nick 81, do you know Acqua Fragile? The singer Bernardo Lanzetti (who, by the way, sang in "Chocolate Kings" by PFM) sounds exactly like Gabriel.

nick81, the PFM has been reunited for some time now, I believe since 2001 with the album "Ulisse," and by the way, what do you mean by "keeping up with the times"? And in what sense can't the Stones and the Purple compete with the Genesis? It seems to me that all three are great...

Miki, I am not against a possible Genesis reunion either; I’m just trying to explain how I think it will happen if they do, that’s all. I’m just afraid that for commercial reasons, they might write pop songs (there's no denying the obvious: in today’s music scene, it’s not the time for 10-20 minute Prog Rock compositions). I still bring up the latest Deep Purple album as an example; as I said, all in all, "Rapture of the Deep" is not bad at all, it’s quite good, but in the sound, the arrangements, and in some tracks, I felt I could hear references to current bands, which a historic band like the Purple cannot afford. That’s what I want to say: I don’t want the Genesis to make a misstep. DAMN IT, IN MY HURRY TO WRITE, I FORGET ACCENTS, DOUBLES, AND MAKE MANY MISTAKES…!!! BUT NOW I’VE CORRECTED IT…!!!!

That’s what I mean, I don’t want the Genesis to take a misstep.

And then, in hindsight, who tells you that Gabriel, Collins & Co. will rediscover the magic of old?

Miki, the Stones have never split up; it's not like they went silent and unseen for 20 years—only for some brief periods did they stay in the shadows. The situation with Genesis is different; it's been 30 years since Gabriel left them and a little over a decade since they actually disbanded. So the thing is different for the simple reason that suddenly you find yourself face-to-face with Genesis, and even in their historically original lineup with Peter Gabriel. On the other hand, Jagger & Co. are, and will always be, part of our experience with their grand and historically significant live performances. I'm not sure if the concept is clear...

Well, if they were to reunite, it would only work as a "revival," like what happened with Pink Floyd. And come on guys, times have changed (for the worse... obviously), and as you've already seen, recent releases from major bands, like Deep Purple with their latest album "Rapture Of The Deep" (which is not bad at all), risked echoing the glory days of the past (which wouldn’t be a bad thing, but if they’re going to do it, they should do it right) and falling into a "flop" (for example, Ian Gillan no longer has his voice and in the latest Purple work, he tries to evoke the unforgettable cries of "Child In Time," but unfortunately, with little success). My friends, it boils down to this: either they hurry to invent a time machine, so we can relive the '60s and '70s, or some group of young people, instead of following the false idols of rap, starts to understand what the term MUSIC truly means and kick off a second unforgettable musical revolution.

Ah... anyway, you can find "Storia O Leggenda" much more easily... but also "Ad Gloriam," which I personally saw recently on a shelf in some record store, was different only in the cover; I mean, it was bigger. I have a reissue distributed by "Replay Music," with the cover outlined in black and the yellow lettering "Le Orme - Ad Gloriam," and the one I'm looking for (even though the song contents are the same) is what I believe is the first edition (LP-CD), with the cover without black outlines.

But did you buy "Ad Gloriam" on the Internet? 4.90 euros is very little; I've mostly seen it around 10-15 euros... is it a reissue? Strange... Um, well, I've been listening to Le Orme since I was 5 years old... I grew up with their extraordinary music, which then led to my knowledge of Prog Rock bands... okay, if you need someone to give you advice, I'll be there... in the meantime, I'm telling you to listen to this album... strange that someone as well-informed about great music as you has never heard it...
