great review, very nice album (although I prefer "last splash")..you filled a nice gap in the de-database!

Great review. Among the major albums, I find "Green Mind" a bit flattened on the classic Dinosaur Jr. sound... I prefer "Where You Been"... that said, the first three albums are unbeatable and "Beyond," their album from a couple of months ago, deserves a full 5 stars!

Splendid page, dear sfascialamiere. I had caught wind of this Sulcis appointment, but Carlotto's presence wasn't exactly making me tear my hair out at the thought of seeing him. Not so much for him (a decent writer, certainly superior to Lou Reed in that regard), but for the legions of my fellow citizens who quote him every two seconds, or who boast about having shared a beer with him at the Libarium, and whom I thought would have flooded the Sulcis paradise around Santadi (a paradise for those with a passion for cycling like me, at least). Now, I’ll take a look at the remaining program!

the most successful album by r.e.m., which trivialized many of their insights from the 80s, but for me, it definitely pales in their discography, squished between "green" and "automatic for the people"....in the review, I would have mentioned "half a world away," which is absolutely one of their best tracks, even though they never play it live.."this could be the saddest dusk ever seen.."
