Harry Nilsson Pandemonium Shadow Show

No, he won't make it to the pantheon, but he had a decent career and some great albums in his collection ("Aerial Ballett" above all, a cult classic for those who love more refined chamber-pop). But not everyone is named Fred Neil or Ray Allen. We'll see what your Derrick does; for now, he's having a regular season à la Iverson 2001....

Yes, legendary song everybody's talking, as long as you remember that the original is by the great Fred Neil :)) Ale, are you warming up for the playoffs? Ray Allen is God, always remember that!

A necessary and inspired page dedicated to a great character, and to the bitter and histrionic vaudeville of this work (even if, for me, the best things came later). rating 3.5

Eh, Brooke Shields had won over many, and surely "The money will roll right in" had captured young Cobain, since he often performed it live (you can even find the Nirvana version on various bootlegs, for example, those included in "Outcesticide"). Beautiful reception, straight among the recommended. Welcome back.

Together with the self-titled debut, this is the best of Francis as a solo artist (the rest is decidedly superfluous). The keyboards play a central role, and they are not played by just anyone, but by Eric Feldman (already in the orbit of Pere Ubu and Beefheart, as well as a key player on the underrated "Trompe Le Monde" by the Pixies). Despite the seductive and malevolent Headache and Whatever Happened to Pong, it is evident from this album that Francis had inherited the edges and quirks of the Pixies, whose melodic essence was better embodied by Kim Deal: as the Breeders demonstrate.

As long as there is Deron, there is hope. Although, at this rate, I think he will leave, and Uncle Jerry will devote himself to his beloved tractors...

Greetings to everyone and thank you for stopping by. @Dopesmoker. He wanted to command so much that he ended up alone. I believe he appreciates "HIO" especially because it is de facto a solo work of his and he was able to experiment with something different, compared to "Without a Sound" which, from its very title, was quite flattened around their classic sound. Personally, I think that the freshness of "Green Mind" and the compositional maturity of "Where you been" represent the best of Giuseppone in the '90s. That said, as teenagelobotomy points out, their contribution to the history of rock lies in the works from the SST period (and also the self-titled, despite being hindered by poor production). @alexander. For now yes, but I plan to resume my wandering soon. But what about your Celtics? Have they found the fountain of youth?

Marco, you are such an exaggerator. I'm feeling battered like poor Deron and in as good shape as the Jazz after the disastrous road trip on the East Coast. @Magnum. Yes, in general, this album is often overlooked. However, Mascis considers it the best of the major label era.
