Really well done!

I listened to something distractedly, but it didn't really catch me. Even though I love both Dulli and Lanegan a lot: or perhaps precisely because of that.
Langhorne Slim When the Sun's Gone Down

A classic album of seemingly "minor" singer-songwriter tradition, yet in reality another gem from an endless and golden American vein. Great reception.

I am part of the "No Code" party, a splendid follow-up to the crepuscular soul of "Vitalogy"... here the decline is felt slow but inevitable. Some small strokes of genius stand out, like the bouncing piano of "Rivals," the crescendo of "Light Years," and "Soon Forget," which almost feels like a portent of "Into the Wild." The rest is fairly routine: pleasant in some cases, a bit depressing in others ("Parting Ways" in particular is a terrible way to close the album, jarring compared to the divine farewell ballads of the past, from "Release" to "Around the Bend" through "Indifference" and "Immortality").

The Magnetic Fields 69 Love Songs (disc 1)

Interesting project, several nice songs, catchy sounds, clever lyrics: in the long run, a bit pachydermic, alas.

This didn't blow me away, much like a good part of their discography (though with a few exceptions, the one from 1997 that you mentioned).
