"One way street" great track, the album is not far behind, although I prefer the first three by Mark.

I would make a separate speech for the Afghan Whigs. They went to Seattle to record an album with Jack Endino because he was becoming the center of the universe, but they truly had another caliber; it’s no coincidence that once they matured, they would produce a couple of masterpieces.

Among other things, the Fluid owe almost all of their already limited fame to having shared a split single on Sub Pop with none other than Nirvana, in one of the gems of the Singles Club of the glorious label run by Poneman and Pavitt. I also heard a lot of the Replacements in them; the mini album "Glue," produced by Butch Vig, is a true cult record.

Bravini, to be categorized under "the many grandchildren of Neil". Among the contemporary bands in Sub Po, I would mention the Fluid.

Green River Come On Down

It's nice to see that discussions about grunge never go out of style. Green River weren't true innovators, but they were among the first to believe in that creative (and punk-distorted) reinterpretation of hard rock that would evolve into grunge (intended as a movement and scene, not just as a style, I specify this otherwise the usual two or three little professors will come to wag their fingers at me).

Good and friendly, among the best of the second string on the Seattle scene.
