well, J isn't exactly the singer of Tad, though.....
The Texas Instruments Sun Tunnels

Classic UEFA Cup band: lacking the eclecticism of the Meat Puppets and the vision of the Thin White Rope, but much better than so much calligraphic fluff from the Paisley Underground. Great recovery.

Well done, among my favorites.
Elliott Smith Either/or

I can only be happy about what you've written, knowing that more people are getting closer to Elliott's work eases a bit the sorrow of his departure.
The Byrds (Untitled)

The only thing that saves the album is the cover.

It should be noted that their respective careers are not comparable: Stills, like Crosby, focused his best art during the golden West Coast era (66-72), only to later wither and become bourgeois, while Young has spread his brilliance over four decades. I love Stephen; his masterpieces with Buffalo Springfield, Manassas, and the early CSN(Y) are a pinnacle of songwriting, and as a musician, he is certainly not to be questioned. But Neil is Neil; I find him deeper, tortured, intense, for me he is like the Pied Piper.... Anyway, yes, they remained great friends despite epoch-making fights, but between a brash Texan and a Canadian bear, there could only be sparks. Like those that, fortunately, emanated from their mutual creative fire.
Love Forever Changes

For me, it's anything but sycophantic. Just think of the lysergic tail of "Live and Let Live," among my all-time favorite guitar solos. The electric six-string emerges after four minutes of apparent calm, then suddenly jolts awake with THAT surge. When it seems to settle down, the drums push it on, intertwining in a disconcerting manner, engaging in a breathtaking duel that fades into mystery... I believe that the refined blend of "forever changes," with its sublime instrumental technique, Spanish influences, acid-folk echoes, explosive garage-rock references, and psychedelia without effects, remains unsurpassed.

#Pixies77. Yes, I remembered. But I believe that the million-selling debut album of Blind Melon allows the remaining members to not have particular issues sending their kids to college, I stick to my point @Black dog. Maybe you are talking about Agony in Chains, the true trash icon of former MTV DJ Enrico Silvestrin, who in the mid-90s copied note for note the sound of a band from Seattle that for me is dead and buried along with its incomparable leader....thanx 4 "volunteers."

Let's give a nice 5 to the good Alessio. 5 like the jersey number of Daniele Conti (borrowed from his childhood idol Falcao).

I am fundamentally opposed to reunions of bands with the same name but a different singer. In the case of Blind Melon, how could one imagine them without the tender, soulful, and enchanting voice of Shannon, without which they would have been just another band among many? Change the name, please.
