Juliana Hatfield How To Walk Away

You took up the mantle of the Deleuzian quotation in Parsons' review, didn’t you? By the way, she played the part of our Emmylou with Evan in the cover of "$1,000 Wedding"...

In that live performance, Neil Frantz's pedal steel is amazing: there's also a blazing cover of the prehistoric "California Cottonfields" by Merle Haggard.

It's worth it for me, absolutely... but it's better if you find this album.

And how can one not fall in love with Gram? The excellent tribute from '99, featuring a cast of the highest caliber (Costello, Beck, Cowboy Junkies, etc.) and stunning versions of "One hundred years from now" (Wilco) and "High fashion queen" (Steve Earle and Chris Hillman).

What have the Pixies done to you? Be careful, speaking ill of "Doolittle" on this site is treason against the monarchy; do you want to resurrect the cow and make her angry? :)

In the end, one should draw lots to choose the best, much like a Joy Division fan torn between "Unknown Pleasures" and "Closer." GP is probably more varied and cohesive compared to Grievous Angel, which was released posthumously, but the trilogy of "Return of the Grievous Angel," "Brass Buttons," and "In My Hour of Darkness" has always warmed my heart. It should be noted that both albums can be found on a single CD, and it's even midprice: those who don't have it should rush to buy it. Mien, to be honest, I was convinced you would do it sooner or later, but as soon as I saw you shifting towards Roger, I took the opportunity... go ahead with La ISB :)... a shout-out to all the country rockers of DeB.
