The Flesh Eaters A Minute to Pray, A Second to Die

Panic, your comparisons seem at least risky to me. Garnett led a mediocre team to the playoffs for years, in a Western Conference dominated by powerhouse teams, even reaching a finals against the Lakers of Kobe and Shaq without Cassell and his backup: a context really quite different from that of the Raptors. Allen dragged the Sonics to play a playoff series point for point with the Spurs who would go on to win the title, while Pierce is already among the most prolific scorers of all time for the Celtics (certainly not just any franchise). Bosh has had a disconcerting decline in the last two years; he's a genuine joke throughout the League (not only via Shaq), defensively non-existent, and offensively he only shines during garbage time or against inferior opponents. Anyway, if he's as good as you say, he has time to prove it. @Imasoulman, you're like the toothpaste ad divas; with that mouth, you can say whatever you want, after all, Neil has always had the same approach with CSNY "cf. 'The Thrasher', although just listening to 'Ohio' leaves only unconditional love. At most, take it out on the record with CSN on the cover sailing, but Neil wasn’t there....

Let's not kid ourselves, please. It's one thing that after Imasoulman put CSNY and Asia in the same sentence, you can say anything, but let's not raise the bar of decency too high. Garnett is among the strongest and most versatile power forwards in history, on both sides of the court. Bosh, for now, is the king of garbage time (where he excels and boosts his stats), and to shake off the brilliant and true label of "Ru Paul of NBA bigs" coined by Shaq, he has a long way to go. I agree on Turkoglu, a tightrope walker of the basketball, and I hope Bargnani explodes, even if the comparison with wunder Dirk seems too generous to me.

But do you also include Ru Paul in the (alleged) Big Three of Toronto? I'd rather stick with Sheed even at 40 years old...

Panic, I'm not a Celtics fan (even though Ray Allen has always been an idol for me via the Seattle Sonics) and I couldn't care less (if the Lakers keep Odom, I believe they'll win again). However, watching Garnett and Wallace play together, two of the most complete and spectacular big men to ever step on a court, will undoubtedly be a pleasure. Dear Azzo, I’d say we can forgive these unbelievers, after all, Neil has always had a love-hate relationship with CSN. As long as they don’t mess with the Buffalo Springfield...

Rece as sumptuous as a Rasheed fadeaway, I can even forgive you for the jab at the West Coast dream.... :)

The Australian little brothers of Thin White Rope, absolutely great.
Therapy? Crooked Timber

The early EPs by Therapy? were extraordinary, with Cairns' metallic and sharp riffs and the disconcerting dance rhythms of drummer Fyfe. When I think back to a song like "Potato Junkie," it makes me want to cry, seeing how they've declined since "Infernal Love."
