Beautiful review, among the recommended ones. If anyone has doubts about Erickson's stature, they should consult the endless list of his fans: Lenny Kaye, Verlaine, Paul Leary, Cope, Jason Pierce, Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers.....all of his solo records are little cult objects, particularly "Never say goodbye," which could have been written by Gene Clark.
