I'm always undecided about the rating to give this album... sometimes, captivated by the eclecticism of the free jazz bridges of Gramophone, I feel inclined to give it the highest score, while other times I think it’s still a bit immature... who will be right?

I have a dear friend who loves gatherings, and he made me listen to something: my knowledge of this genre is therefore limited. The review is perfect.

ehhe dear sfascia, you are as annoying as all sulcitani (at least, luckily, you aren’t the classic sulcitano juventino). Jokes aside, I'm sorry to have given you this impression, and I thank you for the suggestions. Everyone has their own style. Normally, I try to avoid flights of fancy or lengthy descriptions of what a record evokes in me. Having reviewed almost always albums that haven't been addressed yet, I primarily aim to illustrate broadly what’s inside. I don’t always succeed, though; for instance, with Neil Young, I often find myself letting go (as in the review of "Harvest Moon," for which I received suggestions that were diametrically opposed to yours, but with Neil, I like to write what I feel, period). Regarding what you call the "soul" of this album, I indeed didn't linger much on it, but my idea was to focus on that aspect in a few points. That is, in the quote from Calderón de La Barca and in the description of the dreamlike flow of the work, in a fascinating ebb and flow, but in the end, it’s the music that serves as the main element. And then especially in the final comparison with "Zen Arcade" by Husker Du: that is, an album as a lesson in life. I don’t believe you can find a better touchstone for the soul of a record. Anyway, if I were to tackle a review of the football soul of David Suazo, I think I would shine. Thank you, see you soon!

Well done, Sherman! As I already mentioned in the review of Dog Man Star, I’m not particularly fond of this album, which I can give a maximum of 3 out of respect... still respectable.

with Greg Ginn, brilliant guitarist, among the best of the 80s, excellent review.
