The plot is not absolutely essential to make a great film. A movie like Pulp Fiction is a masterpiece for its plot?.. I don't think so, it’s a masterpiece for the brilliant intertwining of grotesque situations, directing technique, and perfect screenplay for the film.

Aside from a few things from their early years, I don't like U2. I've always found them to be completely banal and flat. Bono's voice, especially, is unbearable to me.

I have the first album by the Mahavishnu Orchestra, it's really beautiful. McLaughlin is superb, but shall we talk about Billy Cobham on the drums??..what a delight! I don't have anything by John as a solo artist, maybe I'll start with "Extrapolation".
