Well, AC/DC have ALWAYS been their own cover band. Since they were born, they’ve always played the same rock, a classic band that either you love or you hate. I hate it.. :D

They were a decent band in the first 3 albums, especially in War. After that, they always seemed to me like the embodiment of mediocrity. Of course, it’s a personal opinion (since we have to remember that every 2 sentences to not "offend" the fans).

I don't agree with Bartle's argument; I have friends who love U2, but they are still musically knowledgeable. It depends on the person, how much one loves music, and how willing they are to discover new sounds compared to those imposed by radio and TV. Then there are also those die-hard fans who have been listening to the same 5 or 6 bands for decades, huh.. :D

Exactly, there’s no need for megagalactic stages. The music should be THE show, not the surrounding choreography. Unfortunately, U2 have become so over-the-top... you can't expect anything else.
