Lalo Schifrin Bullitt
Voto:
Great movie and great soundtrack by Lalo (one of his many).
Unsane Lambhouse

Everything is perfect, the review and the album. They are simply blood and noise-rock.
Van Morrison Three Chords And The Truth
Voto:
I’m very curious about the "5 songs that saved your life"! Van The Man is one of my all-time favorites.
Brian De Palma Gli Intoccabili
Voto:
I saw it again the other night; for me, it's always a great film, but I noticed how much the music plays a role. The final combination, first melancholic and then triumphant (in the scenes of the farewell to Garcia and in the last "vado a farmi un bicchiere"), always moves me. Morricone was born for soundtracks; there's not much to say about it.

The first season of True Detective is unmatched for anyone, but it’s more like a movie than a series (8 episodes). The more episodes there are, the greater the risk of boredom or drops in tension. I enjoyed following Lost too, but damn, it was like the Salerno-Reggio Calabria.
Al Green I Can't Stop

We have similar tastes when it comes to music. Everything is very nice.
Cathedral Supernatural Birth Machine

This and the next one (or the previous one? who knows) were blatantly stoner, if I remember correctly. Anyway, I have a crush on Endtyme, which I got as soon as it came out; I couldn't take it out of my portable CD player. And then there's The Ethereal Mirror, of course. And also The Carnival Bizarre.
Solomon Burke Don't Give Up on Me
Voto:
Always excellent subjects. Then I read references to other divinities such as Otis, Sam, and Marvin, which makes it even better. The review, as you have already pointed out, is a bit shaky.

Yes, I like these in small doses. I'm being very cautious with "experimentation" in rock now; perhaps it's no longer my thing.
Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill (Vol. 1 e 2)
Voto:
Maybe it's because I don't find the post-Pulp Fiction Tarantino to be as brilliant as everyone claims, but the two Kill Bills didn't do anything for me. A comic book movie with many instant-classic characters, somewhat like the other films by Our Man.
