I'm going to buy it, I'm missing a coaster. P.S.= can I just take the package without the CD?

Great jazz recommendation, dear Dolphy. This review couldn't come at a better time, as I'm also paying tribute to the art of Tyner with a listen to "The Real McCoy."

@easycure: if someone is inspired by this and Blonde on Blonde (...that is, Blonde on Blonde) is a fuckin’ song going to come out? and for what reason?
Pat Metheny Trio Live

The review is nice. Honestly, I've listened to little of Metheny, and that little hasn't thrilled me. I'll try to give him another chance...

I don't see what issues like the one raised by djmushroom have to do with music. If we always had to look at private matters, we wouldn't listen to music anymore. Did he build a villa? And what about good old Jello Biafra, who is involved in legal battles against his former bandmates over MONEY? The one who sang in a PUNK band?... coherence is a VERY rare quality.

But why does Vecchioni get on everyone's nerves???

Sylvian's ranking makes sense, but with one modification: 1) Maradona 2) Maradona 3) Maradona 4) Platini 5) Van Basten... :D

And what else do you have from Coltrane?

@Melissa. I understood that you considered the jazz music after Parker to be "fluff." The phrase was open to misunderstanding...:D Anyway, try listening to "My Favourite Things" by John Coltrane, a fantastic album that is absolutely enjoyable even for those who are not used to jazz sounds. Or "Saxophone Colossus" by Sonny Rollins.
