Al Di Meola Elegant Gipsy

I've never listened to a whole CD by him (only a few scattered tracks that I don't even remember), but if what Contemplazione says is true, it's not really my cup of tea...I hate excessive virtuosity. Of course, I fully agree with the discourse on the quantity/quality of Coltrane; after all, he was a (musical) deity on earth...:D

One moment, and at what age do we place Claudio Villa?... I mean, "Binario...sad and solitary." Not to mention that with "Buongiorno tristezza," he gave birth to the depressive/black/melodic song... I mean, I’m not sure if I'm making myself clear...

The Dave Brubeck Quartet Time Out

You're right, count. I remember a phrase I found on a forum: "you don't understand shit about jazz, you really deserve Dave Brubeck"...whatever. An album suitable for those who say that "white" jazz has never produced masterpieces.
