In any case, we are talking about some of the best performers of the last 30-35 years, so it ultimately comes down to personal preferences.

While I don't share Alia76's view (I consider De Niro a great actor), I believe Pacino surpasses him, and perhaps, upon further reflection, even Nicholson. However, when discussing great actors, Gene Hackman (extraordinary!) and Dustin Hoffman also deserve to be mentioned.

I can only quote Green; I also find them unbearable in every way.

Indeed, Axel, The Godfather Part III is clearly inferior to the first two, although it is a good film. I just wanted to reiterate that Pacino is, as always, a step above in any movie.

Cage doesn't sit well with me right off the bat. As an actor, though, he's not bad. Last night I rewatched The Godfather Part III on Raitre, and I will never stop praising Al Pacino; truly an actor with a capital A.
Tim Berne Fractured Fairy Tales
Voto:
No Acqualife, unfortunately, it is NOT easily available. Others from Berne are more easily found, but I haven't seen this one around on the web yet; try Amazon or CdUniverse. If it's out of stock, you won't find it even if you pray.

I have two albums by Berne (not this one) and I have to say that I like them. If I'm not mistaken, Berne and Zorn were students of Anthony Braxton in his time (early '80s, I think).
John Coltrane The Complete Africa/Brass Sessions
Voto:
A fantastic album, "Africa" is one of my favorite tracks by Coltrane.
Michael Mann Heat - La Sfida

Well, Pacino and De Niro in the same film are a guarantee. The Italian dubbing is excellent, especially Pacino's (Giannini).
