What a despicable group... I found them just as disgusting with Tarja. @Bartle: "..at times you made me want to listen to another Nightwish album.." but you didn’t, did you?? :D

"but seeing that in Tessera there were fewer people than there usually are even at a concert of any U2 cover band really saddened me." dear Embryo, it's the same thing I think too. A few years ago, there was a friend of mine who was a drummer and he had two bands: in the first one, he played original material (a rather interesting pop-rock, not very commercial), and in the second one, he played covers of Ligabue and Vasco Rossi. Well, when he played with the cover band, there were ten times as many people compared to the gigs with the "real" band. No comment...

Hannemann himself was a great enthusiast of hardcore.

I'm not saying they played pure hardcore, but that in their metal there were many references to hardcore, and they were influenced by H. more than other bands. The intensity, the musical violence, and Araya's screams in RIB are, in my opinion, significant in this regard.

For me, Undisputed Attitude is a great album too. However, Jurix, I don't know if you agree, but I've always felt a lot of hardcore in Slayer's music.

I don’t understand what most people want from Slayer… innovation? They have always played thrash metal, and in the '80s they were even the best. What should they give now? Post-rock? Shoegaze? Ambient? Drone? Apocalyptic folk? Or should they do like Metallica, who went from being a great thrash band to an anonymous rock band?

Caravan, since I also contributed to all of this, I apologize. However, it’s clear that you haven’t been around the site for long: these things on Debaser have been happening for years, in fact, they’ve always been there. With this, I don’t want to make excuses, but you were just unfortunate and it happened to you. :D

Ahah maybe you’re right, after all, I come here to talk about music, not to make speeches. I keep the smart stuff for my private life, which has nothing to do with this site.

"Alfredo, then, is the one who wouldn’t be able to leave an intelligent comment even under torture" really? have you ever seen me? have you ever touched me? have we ever talked? my dear psychologist of this bullshit.
