Well, in any case, in NBA 2k10 my lineup features Bird at power forward, Erving at small forward, and Drexler as shooting guard...so I'm sure I'll be able to take down Duncan and especially Ginobili! :DD

Mmmm, well if Rodman said it that way too, then I surrender..:DD

I quote Don on Isiah’s brain... it’s noteworthy that the nastiness directed at Jordan and Bird has come back to bite Isiah. 1) He didn’t participate in the Barcelona '92 Olympics... I wonder why? :D 2) He was fired as coach of the Pacers when a certain white guy born in Indiana came in as GM... :D

Chocolate Thunder—no, come on, let’s not joke, Don, Dawkins was a player barely more than folkloric. Toney was talented, but physically unfortunate. In '82, however, Toney did sublime things in the playoffs.

Anyway, as Don used to say, I would have loved to see a final between Jordan's Bulls and Olajuwon and Drexler's Rockets in '95... sparks would have flown, in my opinion. Hakeem was also a giant of the '90s... after Jordan, it was him.

Oh my God, Nes, the comparison with soccer has nothing to do with it. And then, even in the rare discussions about basketball, you have to bring up soccer...

And you forgot about Manute Bol too, Cedrotall... :DD

Yes, and anyway Erving had a longer career compared to most shooting guards/small forwards. He retired at the end of the 86-87 season at the age of 37 (and you could already see quite a few white hairs), but he was still playing excellent basketball. It seems to me that in the last regular season game of that season he scored thirty points.

After all, I’m of the same opinion as you, Alexander. Probably Pippen was more fickle than Jordan, but there’s another thing to say: after 6 rings, finding the motivation needed to win again is very hard, unless you’re a born competitor (like Bird and Jordan were).

Yes, in the second three-peat the Bulls were much stronger. Anyway, the team I was talking about was the one that was getting beaten up by Bird in the second half of the '80s... well, calling them unwatchable was putting it mildly. :DD
