Involution, I don't believe in that, nor in evolution, just change. It's not that the band can propose a record that sounds like s.c.i.e.n.c.e. every time; that would also mean underestimating that album and making it lose its aura of uniqueness and singularity. A band can't do crossover for their entire life if it's no longer in their strings. A crow better than morning view? Naaaaaaa!

Thank you, Andrea, for the advice. In fact, I'm looking for sounds like these, groups like Giant or maybe House of Lords!

The source should be a metal magazine, I'm not sure exactly, because I heard this news from a friend of mine. If the Sepultura reunion is real, the news should be on metal sites!

The Velvet Underground The Velvet Underground & Nico

Pimpton, the phrase you mentioned, I knew it was from Warhol. When a journalist asked him how many people he thought had listened to the Velvet Underground, he replied, "I don't know, but certainly everyone who listened to them went on to form a band."

personal opinions, I hear echoes of the Beatles in bloody kisses, in october rust more goth-influenced if those kinds of influences are present they are felt less. For me, the melodic spirit comes from there, but in the end, it doesn't matter much.

for example one is too late: frozen (I hope I wrote it correctly). In a certain use of the choruses and in some sounds, the more sunny ones, I hear the Beatles. Anyway, the definition of Black Sabbath mixed with Beatles is not at all from Scaruffi, but from Steel himself who stated it in an interview where he was asked how he defined his sound, and if he says it himself.

I'm currently listening to Katatonia's *Tonight's Decision*, very beautiful! Anyway, from what I've heard of this band, each album has a truly palpable sense of emptiness and melancholy!

But in my opinion, the Beatles are definitely present in Bloody Kisses; it’s no coincidence that Type have even covered them and that Steel expresses admiration for them. It’s not just Scaruffi who sees Black Sabbath mixed with the Beatles; anyway, in Bloody Kisses, I can really hear them, and not because of Scaruffi (I didn’t even know his opinion on this; all I know from him is that he considers Slow Deep... the best metal album ever made). In the other albums, it leans more towards dark and gothic vibes, and indeed the Beatles have little to do with that.
