The latest Meshuggah (from Nothing onwards) I found to be a bit repetitive and predictable, and for Meshuggah, that isn't exactly a good thing, considering their cold and suffocating rhythms. Still, I’ll give it a listen to see if it resonates with me, since "Destroy Erase Improve" remains one of the most brilliant and intelligent extreme metal albums for me (along with Fear Factory's Demanufacture, Strapping Young Lad, and a few others).
Steven Spielberg Indiana Jones - L'Ultima Crociata

To Valerio, the fact is that if you expressed your opinions with more moderation, no one would argue against you. Dialoguing with people means speaking without insulting and listening to the interlocutor. Only a fool or a sly one like Magdi Allam or Ferrara calls someone antisemitic for being anti-Zionist, because these are different things, so let go of this nonsense.

Many films coming out of Hollywood having double meanings is something mentioned by various eminent critics, not just Valerio Rivoli. As for Indiana Jones, I don't know if there is a double meaning or not; however, it is well-known that many Hollywood films have been released under the blessing and approval of the American government. Films like Rocky, Top Gun, and Forrest Gump are all "patriotic" films with pro-USA messages that aim to convey a certain image of America and Americans. Associations have even been created to promote a benevolent image of the US through cinema, and I would be surprised if they hadn't. Every power and every empire aims for cultural dominance. Anyway, Valerio, there's no need to get so worked up; Debaser is not a political platform. Besides, I think the majority of people judge the film from a cinematic point of view, and from that perspective, even for me, Indiana Jones is one of the pillars of modern adventure films. As for the rest, Spielberg doesn't sit well with me either. Technically perfect, he knows how to package a film flawlessly, but it's soulless, and in my opinion, he is a rather unindependent director, following the current trends. However, he has made dignified and even beautiful films, although lately he seems to have lost that little bit of goodness he had. Naturally, this is a personal opinion.

I don't like Spielberg, but Indiana Jones is one of the few things I appreciate from the director, even though I only know the first one, which I find a very enjoyable and original film.

Anyway, since we're talking about my area, I wanted to point out an error in the title of the review; the power plate is PZ, not PT. Hi ;)

And I add, as you reminded at the beginning of the review, the excessive search at the entrance of the concert by the law enforcement, as if there were an impending attack.

I was there and to tell the truth I wish I hadn't been, because I feel that this year's lineup has been a bit lackluster compared to previous years or maybe it's just due to a change in personal tastes. Anyway, to make a friend happy, I decided to go. The concert didn't excite me, but it was fun. I walked in just as Dark Lunacy started, and compared to a few years ago when I saw them indoors in Rome, they didn't impress me that much, even if they were quite good. As for Pino Scotto, he gave his usual speech; the beer belly of the Tankard singer is one of those things that anyone who was there will never forget in their life. Gamma Ray had a great stage presence, but the sound was too loud and muddled. All in all, it was a decent concert. Sant'Arcangelo is a nice location, but too isolated and sprawling; I preferred Chiaromonte. My rating for the concert: 3.5. Just for reviewing the Agglutination, you deserve a 5; nonetheless, excellent review.

It's 5:33 PM = why should I lynch you? You're one of the most paranoid people I've ever met! But then again, who even cares about you? I wouldn't have even replied if you hadn't dragged me into this.

I listened to the single (not the whole thing, just a few pieces) and I agree with ilpanes, it’s not bad, nothing groundbreaking, but also not that terrible. It’s certainly a group that seems engineered, but I don’t understand all this hatred; the crap in music is something else entirely. They’re just an ordinary band, nothing to get so worked up about and nothing to inspire that much interest. If it’s considered cool to trash them just because they’re overhyped by MTV, that doesn’t seem like a sufficient reason. I certainly won’t give them a full listen, but the single, while it feels familiar, is not that trivial.
