To those who don't like black metal, I understand why Burzum might be off-putting, but for those who enjoy black metal, I can't comprehend what there is to criticize. Anyway, Burzum is among the few black metal composers who could appeal to those who don't like black metal, precisely because of the ambient elements and some psychedelic flavors he incorporates into his music. Unfortunately, I repeat, he's a real piece of shit, and that drives many away from his music.

The Marduk are the usual black metal group, Burzum, if it weren't for the fact that he's a huge asshole (he too has horrible lyrics as ideas, but at least they are well written and at times interesting), is among the most original representatives of the scene. It's not the same old tupa tupa that many black groups do, nor the usual fake adolescent malice. It was minimalistic, using few notes, and at least in "Philosophem" and "Hvis Lyset Tar Oss" it played heavily on atmospheres; in short, it's far from that usual black sound that you hear on hundreds of records. Unfortunately, he's a racist and a Nazi, so most people don't judge him based on the music, or rather, they judge the music (those few who listen to him) based on the person, while in my opinion, he's an excellent composer.

Even though it's not my favorite album in the genre, it’s definitely among the highest peaks of black metal, both historically (I think we can all agree on that) and musically. I also saw them live a few years ago. Really very good, but as people, they’re quite pathetic (like many in the black metal scene).
John Badham La Febbre Del Sabato Sera (1977)

I only saw half of the movie, and compared to the many little musical films today about the usual girl from the suburbs who becomes a great dancer, this is gold. At least it’s not trivial, and the soundtrack (even though dance isn't really my genre) isn't bad. At least it has managed to carve out a place in the collective imagination, and from what I've seen, it's better than Grease (which I find a bit overrated).

Know-it-all, go check out the other discussions by frank1979, including the one about my review of Edge of Thorns, and you'll see that he doesn't understand the words "opinions and personal tastes." There's nothing wrong with preferring Sirens over Streets, but when Frank claims that Streets is a piece of trash and that Sirens is the best and most original album by the band, implying that anyone who disagrees is just trying to be alternative and is listening to critics without being objective (words of frank1979), it really shows you what kind of person frank1979 is.

Well, I'm sorry, but just because you only know kids doesn't mean that this music is only listened to by kids. Slayer are excellent musicians who are hindered by the fact that they write stupid lyrics (those are definitely from 10-year-olds), at least in the early stages of their career.

And then I only know kids and hipsters who listen to punk, yet I don't feel the urge to label a punk band as just kids.

Great band but suitable only for 10-year-olds? Make up your mind, peppopunx. Either it’s a band worth paying attention to or it’s on the same level as Cristina D'avena. Or maybe before shooting off bullshit about a band that has influenced not only extreme metal but also many punk and hardcore movements, especially metal (genres that I think you like), you should think twice. Take it as advice without malice.

I don't like Margherita Buy either, who always plays the same role of the hysterical and the neurotic.
