Oriana Fallaci Se Il Sole Muore
Voto:
not all deaths are equal and this time I quote alessioiride, if instead of Muslims in Fallaci's book there had been Zionists everyone would have cried racism and probably Fallaci would have been condemned and her supplies would have been taken away too, but we know we live in a shithole world, where the death of an Israeli or American soldier makes more noise than half a million Iraqi deaths and thousands of Palestinian deaths and in the living rooms of Vespa they discuss and exalt Fallaci, as for the book I won’t comment, it may even be beautiful and well written, but she is a racist character and distorts history, probably before that damn September 11 she was an interesting writer, but then she sold out.

I saw Funny Games by this director, a beautiful provocative film that mocks the conventions of thrillers and suspense, poking fun at the audience itself (their certainties and expectations, just look at the rewind scene). An interesting director; sooner or later, I will catch up with this film as well.

The objective evidence is there; if you don't want to see it, that's your problem. I don't know why, and I don't even care to know, but you are either obtuse or acting in bad faith (I hope for you it’s the latter). However, it's clear that you haven't watched Mazzucco's film.

You’re quite misinformed about September 11; the investigation commission was official and it’s like having the mafia investigate itself. Does the Warren Commission ring a bell? In reality, no true culprit emerged from the investigations, Bin Laden isn’t even on the FBI's wanted list (see for yourself), many hijackers are still alive (see for yourself) and the Bin Laden family left the USA right after the attack with the authorities' consent. Maybe you don’t know that hundreds of families of September 11 victims have accused the official commission and demanded the creation of an independent commission (but of course, they won’t tell you this on TG5, with Vespa, or in Repubblica), you’re unaware of the many associations that have arisen against the official narrative (even from firefighters) and there have been parliamentary inquiries about whether September 11 was an inside job. The facts are evident to those who want to see them; read the new American project where the neocons explicitly stated (in 2000) that they needed to spark war in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other countries of the "axis of evil," and to do this they required a new "Pearl Harbor." Polidoro is smart and has rightly distanced himself from CICAP, but that organization influences those who have been part of it for their entire lives. This isn’t about aliens or the Loch Ness monster, but about facts, and it’s hard for the average person to believe that their own government could be capable of killing thousands of its citizens. Yet we Italians should know that this can happen (does P2 mean anything?).

Polidoro is a very questionable character... highly recommended documentary, it presents facts and evidence, does not speak out of turn and is not politically aligned. Did you know that during Kennedy’s time, Operation Northwoods was commissioned, which involved hijacking planes and crashing them into buildings or blowing them up to then blame Cuba and Castro and justify the war? America is not new to such things, see Gulf of Tonkin, Pearl Harbor (they knew in advance about the Japanese attack), and the Lusitania in World War I.

how beautiful is the world of alessioiride right =bad left=good, of course Bertinotti and Veltroni taught nothing to the left-wing people, still talking about ideologies and political parties when the world is going in a completely different direction, people are finally taking to the streets under no ideological banner, praise be to God! Returning to the book, which must be judged differently from the film (but some haven't realized this yet), it is quite verbose and has too many descriptions of environments and stuff like that, but to say that The Lord of the Rings is stuff for junkies and nerds, besides being ridiculous, means not knowing anything about literature because: 1- The Lord of the Rings is a work that is over half a century old, born in a time when disposable fantasy, Dungeons and Dragons and all that nerd crap (like the books by Salvatore) didn’t yet exist 2- I mean, someone writes a book that can be read on two levels, for entertainment, but also with thousands of references to esotericism and Norse traditions, creates an entire language of its own and we’re still talking about stuff for junkies? 3- despite the flaws of the book, Tolkien was the only brave one in the 20th century who tried to imitate "Homer" and create an epic of that scope, which might not please many, not because it's little leftist or because you got a 2 in high school because of it, your own problems, but let's talk seriously, if we have to say nonsense, we're all good at that.
Guy Hamilton Agente 007 - Missione Goldfinger
Voto:
The best James Bond film with the best screenplay is "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." Even though it stars Lazenby instead of Connery, I recommend it for its stunning soundtrack, great action scenes, and an ending you would never expect in a 007 film. Then there's From Russia with Love (the film that precedes this one), which is a fantastic espionage film, closer in spirit to Fleming's books, far from the gadgets and villains who want to conquer the world. Goldfinger, in fact, marks the beginning of this kind of James Bond, with the Aston Martin and the three thousand gadgets, etc. It's definitely a nice film, with great lines, colorful villains, a lovely atmosphere, and beautiful women.

"artistic deficiencies of an entire genre," but what are you saying? What have you listened to? Do you realize that you're shooting down a genre that you surely don't know? Have you ever listened to Voivod, Fear Factory's Demanufacture, or the death fusion of Atheist, Cynic, and Pestilence, Meshuggah, Strapping Young Lad, Nevermore, Opeth, Sepultura's Arise, Chaos, or Roots (one of the few successful experiments of metal-hardcore mixed with tribal music?), Death, or Arcturus's The Sham Mirrors? You probably only know the usual two or three names (Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Slayer). Anyway, despite the nonsense you’re saying, Merry Christmas!!!
