One shouldn't always view things in black and white, and my comment towards cptgaio was sharp precisely because the Dalai Lama, who surrounds himself with Hollywood stars and Western heads of state, is clearly a figure who has lost his spiritual mission and is practically opposed to what Buddhism indicates. He surrounds himself with figures who use him for "imperialist" and geopolitical campaigns against China—people who don't really care about Tibet. There are many questionable individuals around the Free Tibet movement who are simply pro-American and far from being genuinely interested in the Tibetan issue.
