Nevermore Dreaming Neon Black
Voto:
An exciting album that's almost awful! One of those emotional albums that hurts to listen to because it might bring forth painful thoughts, just as painful as the theme of a concept so well crafted that it makes the atmosphere of anguish and sadness palpable. One of the greatest concept albums in history (at least for atmosphere), one of the jewels of metal worldwide! The soundtrack of a lost love in a dark and gray world!

great album, top-quality metal, as usual when it comes to Nevermore. Warrel Dane always expressive. However, their absolute masterpiece will always be Dreaming Neon Black! Anyway, a devastating album, with a use of guitars that is quite Scandinavian. They've become more aggressive. The right soundtrack for these apocalyptic times of preemptive wars and anti-terrorism laws against freedom!

this album is stunning. I mean, how can you not fall in love with the chorus of "my plug in baby," a song to be sung at the top of your lungs? Many of you are confused, some compare them to Nirvana, others say they are the most technically gifted in rock. None of that, they are simply a great band that writes great songs. The second half of the album is a bit inferior to the first, but the album is still an immense masterpiece, one of those CDs that pierce your soul! A review that is too brief and doesn’t convey much about the album!

I made a mistake, I meant to say that who's got my back is anything but a commercial song, quite the opposite, it's very experimental!

The CD is really beautiful! I'm tired of the superficial people who criticize based on hearsay. I've listened to Pearl Jam too, and aside from the vocals, Creed has nothing in common with this group. Creed uses the guitar very differently, closer to metal; the first two songs on this album are almost leaning towards metal, not at all sugary, and unleash a devastating power. "Who's Got My Back" is anything but an experimental song, with 8 minutes of tribal experiments and rarefied atmospheres, and then there's "Signs," with a vocal melody line of dazzling beauty! So let's say the CD is divided into two parts. The tracks from 1 to 5 are quite powerful and also original and experimental in some parts. The second part of the CD, on the other hand, is very melodic and commercial, let's say pretty MTV, but with objectively very beautiful melodic songs and great vocal and guitar parts! Even the melodic taste is different from that of Pearl Jam. In short, Weathered is an album with a thousand facets, heterogeneous in the positive sense of the term; I prefer it to the more homogeneous "Human Clay," which I find less creative and original than this one!
Incubus S.C.I.E.N.C.E.

one of the peaks of crossover and don't call it nu-metal, Incubus have never been that; they have influenced the movement but have always kept their distance. Genius and crazy, one of the must-have albums of the 90s! I don't agree with the reviewer saying that the other albums are not valid. Make Yourself and Morning View are true masterpieces, and the latest Crow... is a great album!

but you really don’t understand a damn thing. This is a pretty original rock CD (a rare trait these days). Most of those who criticize it have surely only listened to the single with the video featuring the girls, which is in fact the least beautiful song on the album, whereas in some parts it reaches genius. The chorus of "nice to know you," the incredible crescendo of "just a phase," the rocking "circles"! Guys, this is a badass record that doesn’t copy any band. A sincere and intimate album! If you want throwaway rock, then this CD isn't for you!
