Cannibal Corpse Vile
Voto:
a review in the style of Celentano, asking whether it’s rock or slow, only here the existential question is brutal or not brutal. The beginning is nice, especially the part about the car that was about to run you over, but you mentioned the word brutal too much; I mean, we got it, the album is brutal!!! The Cannibals are good, but they don’t drive me crazy, and I haven’t listened to "vile," so I can't judge!

I enjoyed your dreamlike tale; in fact, the album is barely understood, but it's nice to read reviews like that every now and then. Well done!!!!

The section titled "Monster" from Villa Strangiato, that catchy little tune, I've heard it somewhere before. Was it by any chance used on TV somewhere?

very particular and original, which is rare in a landscape like death metal where everything has already been said and most bands just copy and recycle! The drummer is a monster, a human octopus. The first time I heard the drummer's performance on this album, I was truly astonished. Have you heard how terrifying (in a good way) sarchopagus is? A death doom coming from the Egyptian underworld. The soundtrack of a horror version of The Mummy!

really accurate review. I’ve read other reviews of yours and they are really well done. Not fanatical and juvenile! I haven't listened to the album yet, but if you say it's better than the previous "in their darkened..." which I liked a lot and consider one of the best death metal CDs of recent years, then it’s a must-listen!

I really like Dream Theater, but I think the antipathy arises from the fact that fans believe they are the inventors of some genre and the kings of progressive music, and even the creators of prog metal, which is absolutely wrong. Then the famous instrumental by Dream Theater, "The Dance of Eternity," is clearly inspired by "YYZ" by Rush, a great band, but I think they are hated by many, especially because of the fanaticism of fans who do not respect history. Anyway, let’s talk about Rush, it’s better!
What do you think of Villa Strangiato?
Marco Masini Il giardino delle api
Voto:
When I was in high school, there was a classmate of mine who loved Masini. Well, I mean, if pop-doom existed, Masini would be its leading exponent, eee! Now he starts to act like a sunny, more optimistic guy; in short, he has sold out to commercialism too. Let’s be clear, I never liked him, but at least he was sincere in his lyrics and not a manufactured phenomenon like many pop singers, in fact, he was heavily criticized.

The Strangiato Villa is perhaps the best instrumental piece ever written, with one of the most beautiful riffs in the history of rock. The suite is insane; it has a unique homogeneity despite its 18-minute length and is not at all a jumble of pieces as happens with many suites. Mastodon-like!!!!

the album is beautiful:
x giorgio: isanh sings in a song "radical cut" which is the only black metal song and is close to the emperor style, but the rest of the album is not black metal. It’s very experimental and absolutely brilliant. A work that if you listen to it once or twice or even three times you might not understand a thing and maybe you’ll flush it down the toilet, but I assure you it's a masterpiece. Plus, there’s helhammer on drums and that says it all, and then Garm from Ulver on vocals does some crazy things. Supergroup!!!

this is a huge caspolavoro and congratulations for the excellent review, sincere and precise! Among the most experimental groups I've ever heard. Try it to believe it. The singer's voice is amazing! I agree with you about "for to end yet again" being the best track on the cd where there is everything and even the lyrics are strange and cryptic and even mention Bin Laden and the euro "stop the euro from bina Bin Laden". Immense!!!
