Ephel Duath The Painter's Palette

The masterpiece and the live performance are identical to how they are on the record. The singer is a human beast, perhaps the craziest I've ever seen at a concert!

Faith no More King For A Day... Fool For A Lifetime

surely the album where Patton's genius is most evident as he combines every color with his voice: enveloping, captivating, angry, flashy, and everything in between. A very heterogeneous but irresistible album, and as usual, brilliant!

Well! Useless review! The fact that you say that my friend (which is, by the way, a kind of ballad) is the only rock piece almost makes it seem like you want to mess with us! This is the most rock album along with Californication ever composed by the Red Hot, no doubt about it; only that, unlike Californication (which is still a good album), this is a masterpiece and Navarro’s touch on the guitar is unmistakable. Perhaps you listened to a different album!
Neurosis Times Of Grace

interesting mention, also because I adore Neurosis, even though I only have "A Sun That Never Sets."
Obituary Frozen In Time
Voto:
The Obituary have never fascinated me as a band, more so for Tardy's voice, which I find quite original—something different from the usual growl—than for their overly doomy, too slow and suffocating tempos. However, I do appreciate some of their albums a lot, especially "World Demise," which I consider their best work and certainly the most mature, truly excellent with some of the most beautiful songs in the genre. "Slowly We Rot" is also worth appreciating for that healthy rawness that adds to it, but still, nothing transcendental, so I don't think I'll ever listen to this album!

In my opinion, this review adds something new to the other two already present! A different perspective that is less redundant and pompous. A review of praises can deflate expectations, and often with Tool this is the risk; however, some technical notes are interesting. I give you 3 only because those reading the review won't understand what Tool sounds like! As for the album, this is certainly the most important rock record of the early millennium, even though the label rock doesn't do justice to this masterpiece! The Pink Floyd of the 2000s?
