Dio Holy Diver Live
Voto:
The review of Punisher is nice. If you’re referring to the DVD, I have nothing to say because I haven’t seen it; if you’re referring to Ronnie James Dio in general (as I understand), I find your critique lacking objectivity. With all due respect, what does it mean that the music is old and stale? Then we shouldn’t listen to all the stuff from the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and even the first half of the ’90s (grunge? ancient) and classical music would actually be erased from our memory because it’s prehistoric. I personally enjoy Holy Diver; sure, let’s say it hasn’t aged well compared to other albums, but it retains its charm for some people, including me, and I see nothing wrong with that. May God punish me!
Dream Theater Images and Words
Voto:
The album is beautiful and is played really well, and many agree on this. Those who refuse to admit it simply have their blinders on or perhaps say that Dream Theater suck because saying so sounds cooler. But (there’s a but) Dream Theater have absolutely not proposed anything new, so the praises and accolades they receive are excessively exaggerated. The only thing Dream Theater has done is to revive in 90s musicians the love and rediscovery of 70s progressive, in short, they have brought back to life several now-forgotten bands. Because the music of Dream Theater is a nice mix of Yes, Rush, and Genesis, with the addition of distorted guitars. Rush, in particular, is one of their primary sources of inspiration and also of plagiarism (ytze jam copying YYZ by Rush). Their flaw is often being a bit too cold and having given rise to the image of the musician who is all technique and no emotion, which is still an exaggeration. Good, and quite a lot, but not exceptional and not innovative.

I listened to some songs a while ago and they are really crazy in a good way. You can definitely tell they are Japanese, and in this area, the East is surpassing us!!!!
Korn Follow The Leader
Voto:
This disc gets on my nerves, but it's listenable; it would be a 2.5 but I’m raising it to a 3. The real Korn are the ones from the debut; then they became one of those many useless new metal bands, harmless and fake alternative, and way too full of money!

great review! Congratulations, president, why don't you become a reviewer instead of dropping bombs around the world and staging self-attacks?
Iron Maiden Dance Of Death
Voto:
The duo of guitarists in Judas is fantastic; I'm reminded, for example, of "Metal Meltdown." Just like Tipton and Downing, I think they are among the best, even though technically, as a layman, I don't see them as superior to Maiden. I still have to listen to several things by Judas though; the albums I have are "Defenders of the Faith" and "Painkiller," certainly two masterpieces!
Iron Maiden Dance Of Death

Well, in my example, you fit perfectly. Honestly, I don't know much about Saxon, but they are very well-known! I prefer Iron Maiden to Judas Priest, but that's just my personal preference (also because I only know two albums by Judas, while I know several by Iron). However, the argument "Judas Priest are technically better" doesn't hold water. When it comes to songwriting ability and mentality, in some cases, Judas Priest are indeed superior since they, unlike Iron, have often changed their sound and rarely got stuck in a rut. But in terms of technical skill, I definitely don't consider Judas to be superior!

Korn See You On The Other Side
Voto:
But come on, let’s put it this way, you save yourself in a corner kick! Anyway, the best Korn for me are the ones from the debut, sincere and angry like few, and especially without those annoying rap/hip hop influences from their mid-career that made them a bit decline. Untouchables, from what little I've heard, seems interesting. Let's hope this long list of your reviews ends soon; at least try to do some new ones or do them in an original way. For God's sake, out of ten reviews, 90% are already done!!!!
