great CD! Nice review!
Incubus Morning View
Voto:
I may be exaggerating, but I find this album a masterpiece. In fact, the single that was shown as a video on MTV is the worst track on the album and the most commercial. The review is well done, but in my opinion, you are stating a great falsehood when you claim that this is the most commercial album by Incubus. To me, it is the one that requires the most listens to be appreciated, very intimate in some parts. In this respect, the other albums like the truly magnificent "Make Yourself" and "A Crow...." are, in my opinion, more straightforward. "Nice to Know You" is gorgeous, "Circles" is an exhilarating rock song in the Incubus style, not to mention "Just a Phase," perhaps one of the most mature and reflective pieces ever written by Incubus (far from commercial), with a great build-up! The melody of "11 a.m.," the acoustic ballad "Mexico," personally I find this album to be the most challenging of Incubus, a certain conception of adult and intimate rock that in many parts strays away from the adolescent outbursts and crossover rage of their early days! Is this a bad thing? No, it’s evolution! Let’s say my rating would be a 4.5!
Fabri Fibra Applausi Per Fibra
Voto:
I love having preconceived notions about these artists: it was enough for me to see his cover on that enemy of intelligence magazine called Panorama and read a few lines from some of his songs to understand what kind of character we’re dealing with. My criticisms are directed at him as an artist and not as a person, of course! Mr. Morte, why this fierce defense? Aren't you fiber? DDDDD
Anathema A Natural Disaster
Voto:
Great review Zion, but Anathema made the shift towards rock in 1996 with Eternity, and especially two years later with Alternative 4, where their departure from metal became definitive in favor of a psychedelic rock influenced by Pink Floyd and Radiohead! If you haven't listened to them already, I recommend "Alternative 4" and "Judgement," two albums that, with proper promotion, could have placed Anathema among the best rock bands of the 90s.

I certainly don't understand these comments on metal reviews. But can’t everyone just write whatever the hell they want? If someone, that's their problem, only listens to metal, what should they review, rap? Instead of criticizing and acting like angry queens, why not write a few non-metal reviews, which are refreshing during a dry spell like August, or go on vacation and relax?
Journey Infinity
Voto:
Alright, the important thing is the music; however, I agree with the definition of melodic rock, not with that of AOR! Ramazzotti AOR? Oh my God, the Americans are in a really bad place, I'm sorry that bands like Journey are compared to Ramazzotti!
Rhapsody Eternal Glory

Holy Christ, why don’t you write a non-metal review instead of complaining? Is it their fault that metalheads are currently writing more on this site?
After Forever Prison Of Desire
Voto:
I became interested in After Forever thanks to listening to "Decipher," a very beautiful album with remarkable songwriting. "Invisible Circles," which is the best for you, is a great album for me, but a step back compared to "Decipher," which I perhaps prefer for its classical arrangements! I don't know this one, anyway, my preference goes to the old After Forever, so it might interest me.
The Vision Bleak The Deathship Has a New Captain
Voto:
Hi Fidia. Yes, I don't consider it a masterpiece, but it's a very enjoyable album to listen to. It's true that the various webzines and industry magazines have a bit exagerated, all giving top ratings and talking about a gothic revelation. Personally, I think it's a nice album with great songs and a wonderful horrific atmosphere!

A few weeks ago, I saw one of his concerts with the jazz quintet, spectacular to say the least!
