I just have a few notes to make to my friend Cliff and the rest of you.
First of all, I absolutely disagree with all of you who give a 5 to this review, which is well-written, but in my opinion doesn't say much beyond how the album is and who the musicians are (mostly well-known). Moreover, there are historical errors and significant risks in evaluation... First... Historical error: LTE did not originate from Portnoy and Petrucci but solely from Portnoy. Without him, they wouldn't exist (go read the album booklet if you don't believe me or better yet, check Portnoy's website). Plus, it was ultimately a choice of Petrucci, so... be careful, Cliff! Secondly, I believe that Rudess is not even comparable to Kevin Moore, both in playing style and in the fact that Dream Theater were not searching for a replacement for Kevin Moore but for Derek Sherinian... Cliff, honestly, Kevin Moore is Kevin Moore!! He is unique!!!
Cliff, you need to be very careful when reviewing albums like this because there are people who know far too much about this genre... and next time, if you need to express a personal comment, do it more calmly... it's better.
And for the others, before giving a rating to a review that is mainly based on a description of the album and not on the artistic quality of writing or innovativeness of the review, one must know the album well; otherwise, the rating is worth half in my opinion...

Even though I think it might deserve a 4 as a rating, this review for me deserves a 5 even just for the introduction... perhaps it doesn't actually relate to describing an album, but it is so evocative and emotional (and wonderfully written) that for that alone, you deserve all my sea of compliments... sooner or later, I'll also create a masterpiece like this because know that I firmly believe I have the talent for it and I hope to have the honor of reading your comment... whatever type it may be, it will be warmly welcomed... Congratulations again... keep it up...

Great review.. congratulations!! So far the best I've read on de-baser even though I would have liked it to be a bit more personal.. but maybe that's just my impression...
DiLeo is good, but he doesn't compare to that human monster Demetrio Stratos, whom unfortunately so few know.. take some records from Area and his solo works (with his singing voice above all) and you'll understand...
P.S. I wrote my high school thesis on Stratos...

I find your review to be very vague and it really says little about what the slayers convey with their music... If this is just a start, let's say you have plenty of room for improvement... especially try to use more terms that evoke sounds and images, which will make your review much more intriguing...
P.S. If you want to read my reviews, check out the one on Trapeze or Derek Sherinian or Opeth... leave the others aside because they are just spits, even if they have some interesting imaginative sparks.

Nice rec...I’ve never heard the album, but I think that the Bluevertigo are great precisely for their avant-garde approach to composing pieces (being myself a crazy artist)...anyway, there’s something missing about what music conveys in my opinion..anyway, well done!

Once again, a review that hits me... damn, I didn't think it, but I have to admit I can learn a lot from you... but I should have expected it from someone like you who lives for music...
