oops! "...their swan song"!
Litfiba Colpo Di Coda
Voto:
An essential gem of the Litfiba and, unfortunately, their swan song (or final flourish?). Eighteen rock-solid, searing, compact tracks that frame an exemplary live performance, without dips in tone. An exquisite production.
Litfiba Re del silenzio
Voto:
KING OF SILENCE is a pointless, useless, and nonsensical collection. It's not even an official album! King of Silence was released by the old record label of Litfiba, CGD, when the band had already moved to EMI (which released the majestic live COLPO DI CODA). The album features the bonus track "Elettrica Danza," along with various songs from the band thrown together haphazardly. For those who want to get to know Litfiba, I recommend the excellent (official) compilation SOGNO RIBELLE from 1992 and the live albums APRITE I VOSTRI OCCHI (1987) and COLPO DI CODA (1994); to truly understand them, of course, all albums from DESAPARECIDO to SPIRITO, or at most up to MONDI SOMMERSI (but not beyond, for heaven's sake!)
Litfiba Terremoto
Voto:
El Diablo a misstep?! I disagree. For sure, Terremoto represents the peak of Litfiba, excellent from the first to the last track. The worthy heir is the live album Colpo Di Coda. After that, ...no comment.
Black Sabbath Dehumanizer
Voto:
It's not a particularly bad album, Dehumanizer, it's just peculiar (of course, a turd compared to the early works!). Good review.
Bruce Springsteen Devil & Dust
Voto:
Well, anyone can write and send reviews, but regardless of being a fan or not, you can't criticize Bruce for his beard or pants or for the "colonial-style shack" without knowing (at least broadly) the artistic and personal journey that led the Boss to produce an album like this. I admit, "Devils & Dust" is just a decent album, but the non-review being made here is just mediocre!

Bruce Springsteen Human Touch
Voto:
I absolutely did not mean to suggest HUMAN TOUCH as an album to approach Springsteen: it’s just that the judgment of it can vary depending on whether one has already listened to other works by Springsteen or not. I believe it’s fair to judge HT as a good rock album, but equally fair to place it several steps below other remarkable works that the Boss has given us.
Keep on rockin'!!!
