@ Naif...No, I’m not talking about the vinyl version printed by Bla Bla in 1972, strictly Made in Italy. On the cover of the LP, the tracklist is wrong...it’s the same as the one you know! But when I listen to the record, the order of the tracks is strictly the one I described...and if you listen closely to the lyrics, you realize that the idea of the concept album has much more validity...@Mah! (which I think is Iside)...I absolutely respect your opinion, but I reaffirm my disavowal...perhaps the record sounds a bit naïve today, but it’s still, in my opinion, a great record. If only we had more...

Ladies and gentlemen, as usual, on this site, the moment a group sells just one extra copy of their album, it's the beginning of the end. But enough!!!!!!! Enough!!!!!. Not recognizing that these four are geniuses means having slices of salami and ham (both cooked and raw), bresaola, speck, and mortadella over your eyes....I bet a fantasy billion of euros that if the order of release had been reversed, this would have been the unbeatable masterpiece, "Takk" the semi-masterpiece but one step below, () same because it’s in the middle, "Agaetis" the beginning of the end, "Von" the definitive commercial and, consequently, artistic disgrace...a lifetime this album, and instead, they laud, I don’t know, the Mono (to stay within the genre). Well, joking aside, the Mono sold only 382 copies, so they must be good by force. I don’t dislike them, to be clear, but compared to the Icelanders, they really become small. The same goes for Radiohead
when will many people stop judging albums based on sales and start talking about them for their content, this nice little site will improve...a lot. Enough with the high and mighty attitude, COME ON!

I was about to suggest it myself... yours is nice, though. Maybe a bit "didactic," but reviewing albums like this is never easy! Rating 3.5. As a big fan of Battiato, I'd like to clarify that there are actually nine tracks on this album, not eight, and that the CD reissue (terrible, both in sound and graphics, not to mention the advertisements for ringtones inside the booklet...) was released with a completely incorrect tracklist. The album begins with an introduction (not listed on the cover) featuring the children from the "Istituto San Vincenzo" nursery school in Milan, followed by "Energia," "Fetus," "Una Cellula," "Cariocinesi," "Fenomenologia." The second side consists of "Meccanica," "Anafase," "Mutazione." As for the album, I completely disown iside (sorry) and I fully agree with Eneathedevil. It took courage to release an album like this in 1972... Battiato had it... the next two are better, in my opinion.

One of the most beautiful reviews I've ever read on this site (which sometimes publishes some real nonsense). The album needs no comments, just one word: MASTERPIECE.

Oops. I accidentally posted the comment twice... I'll take this opportunity to give 1 to this disgrace.
