So Doherty... the speech is quite long... I'll be concise. In my opinion, your review is TERRIBLE. In order: I appreciate the gesture, but you're not exactly presenting us with the new entry of new entries from NME... I mean, the aforementioned group "emerged" about 4/5 years ago with a nice debut, but you probably only heard about them now because CocainKate is sucking Hince's dick. Which means the entire first paragraph of your review is completely out of place. I wonder if you listened to their two previous albums, because this group HAS ALREADY SAID EVERYTHING THEY CAN SAY AND PLAYED EVERYTHING THEY CAN PLAY in "Keep on the mean side" (the aggression you wrote about) and "No wow" (the danceable side you pointed out). This makes this record USELESS. Another note: surely, in the trendiest, most packed clubs in London (which makes them cool) they don't play Kills tracks. Seriously. I'm writing to you from London, so I know for sure, and if you want, I can give you a short list of what I've heard recently: Charmer + Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon (which are a huge draw there) - Peter, Bjorn & John - Young Folks - The Libertines, who get played and will always get played, thank god, Lightspeed Champion - Kaiser Chiefs, I Predict A Riot - The Ting Tings, who were at the top of the charts for singles for ages, then The Young Knives, Glasvegas, Coral, and even the Enemy! I never heard anything from the Kills, honestly. Finally, the attack (which I agree with, but) absolutely gratuitous towards the two Italian singers I found "very inappropriate." Sorry if I sounded pompous and annoyed you in a inhuman way, but honestly reading these reviews almost makes me miss the old sexyajax... at least he was funny. Regards. Take care, sorry again.

Absolutely true the story of the UK. There, they are fucking gods; they get tons of copies, mainstage@Glasto + regular weekly covers of various NME, Kerrang, Q and other stuff. The first album is a masterpiece, then they got pretty pretentious. Just compare the photos of the band from 2002 with the current ones. Spine-chilling. Let’s not do it. Let’s just listen to them (maybe holding a low-price ticket to London in our hand, we’ll like them more…).

Well, "sheena is a parasite" is a great track for me, but the Horrors aren't that amazing... not even the 1990s are all that great, but if you're with a friend and enough beer, it feels like the best album.
