The Thin Red Line, Apocalypse Now, certainly.
But I believe Spielberg's film is a masterpiece as well.
After the landing, the film is of a power and heaviness never seen, in my opinion, in a war movie.
Sure, it’s a bit of an American thing because it tries to portray the Yankees as heroes no matter what, but I think it's a damn good film, and it’s not fair to criticize it just because it might be a bit more commercial than the others.

"But do you also shoot at women and children? Yes, they're slow and easier to hit.
War is a mess, friend."
No, Sharkste, the marines are not cynical pieces of shit.
The real pieces of shit are the ones who send them to war.

The film is very beautiful, although, in my opinion, it should have been more gruesome in the war scenes.

I saw him last Saturday.
I found him extremely boring.

Here's another one.
One of the usual whiners who comes to unload all his daily frustration on the site, arrogantly insulting left and right when he wouldn't even be capable of putting two coherent words together.
For me, dear chosen one, the only monkey in here is you (with all due respect to monkeys, of course).

Of course, it is an original coloring.
Anyone who has seen the movie can confirm it :)

Mike, the intense yellow of some scenes, the dull blue almost green in others, or the deeper blue of yet others, I find them colors... but of course, it is clear that it is still a black and white film ;).

Let it be clear that I won't take lessons from a prepubescent little boy. It’s not about age, but about the experience and maturity I have earned in the field, which I am sure I possess, unlike you. And don’t preach to me. Insult me, belittle me, call me whatever you want, but don’t lecture me. I repeat, I won't accept it from a kid who, on top of that, goes by the name Axl.

Dear Axl, you can give me even a 1, I couldn't care less, as I can show you myself. And then I vote however the hell I want. @ Mike: I used the adjective "Visionaries" because in the movie the colors really seem trippy to me, like from a mystical trip. Regards.

Hello Lovelorn, I would like to tell you something if you allow me.
As a reviewer, you are good, in the sense that you write well and are competent in your field.
But as you may have noticed from the lack of comments on your writings, DeB users steer clear (and, if I may say, quite rightly) of your proposals for all the same groups in a genre that hasn’t had anything new to say for quite some time now.
This album, for example, a friend played for me in the car, and I have to say it's rather mediocre and in line with all the current similar gothic bands with female vocals, some of which you have already mentioned.
With this, I don't want to tell you to stop talking about it, far from it, but just to not be surprised if your reviews consistently go uncommented (except, of course, for the spectacle phenomena like Evanescence or the current Lacuna Coil).
