As far as I'm concerned, fidelity in a relationship is the very foundation of it. I could never forgive a betrayal, even slightly. It’s not about being struck in my masculinity, but the essence of the relationship, which is based on trust, is completely undermined. I once read in a magazine that the difference between male and female infidelity lies in the fact that while a man cheats to satisfy his sexual instincts, a woman does it for more, let’s say, psychological impulses, such as when she feels neglected or something similar. Well, who knows if that's true.
In any case, Vin, I fundamentally disagree with you regarding the difference in betrayal between man and woman based on the conservatism of it. For me, it holds the same devalued weight, even if society forgives men more easily, and I believe this is deeply unjust. Even the same type of woman you’re trying to point the finger at—namely, the ambitious, ruthless woman who wants everything at her feet... well, I think it’s simply a matter of maturity and character.
Believe me, Vin, I’ve met formidable idiots and deeply empty people among both women and men, but perhaps the negative aspect stands out more in women. In any case, it’s truly a shame that your review has been excluded because I genuinely think it could have led to a deeper discussion on the topic with others.

Hi Vin, I want to start by saying that I don't believe the De Base editorial team intentionally silenced your review - tirade, because I don't think it contains such highly offensive content. In fact, I believe it could have sparked a nice discussion. At first glance, it might seem like a misogynistic thought, but in my opinion (correct me if I'm wrong), what led you to write all this is likely a deep disappointment in love that you've experienced. In the past, I have also found myself thinking more or less the same things. The mistake you make, however, in my view, is in generalizing this behavior to women alone. Both from personal experience and out of a sense of justice, it's important to say that from this perspective, there isn't much difference between men and women. What I've always wondered is this: why is a girl with several relationships considered a slut, while a similar behavior in men is synonymous with grandeur? Come on, it's the same thing. The lack of trust in the female gender may stem from a personal private history (which, I repeat, has happened to me in the past), and that’s understandable. But, if the roles were reversed, if perhaps we were the ones who made a girl suffer, they would also have every right to think the same way. Then it’s evident that we act and think based on our current situation. In this case, however, one should have the courage to reflect more objectively.

The singer is questionable, but the review isn't that bad after all; at least it's well written. I've seen reviews that are truly shitty but received a high rating just because they were about some band more favored by the debaserian public opinion. When it's right, it's right.

Soon we will reach the point where if Labrie and company let out a fart, there will still be someone to review it.

Killgod, I have already had the chance to call you out in the past. I'll say it again, you are free to listen to whatever you want, but don't insult the intelligence of those who have different musical tastes from yours with your childish outbursts.

But please, enough. In my opinion, if they really have to do the usual reviews, at least they should add something. It's obvious to say that this adds nothing at all; on the contrary, it is disarmingly trivial.
Sum 41 All Killer No Filler

Sum 41, that is, a pseudo-punk band (actually commercial jam) for kids aged between 12 and 15 who think they're rebellious if they tell their parents to fuck off and smoke a joint in secret, known more for the fact that the singer is Avril Lavigne's boyfriend (another iconic punk figure who, in comparison, Siouxie Soux is not even worthy of washing her feet) rather than for their undeniable musical skills.
The cover horrifically depicts all the punk stereotypes that Sum 41 evidently hasn’t realized have been outdated for at least 25 years.
A review, if it can even be called that, worthy of the prepubescent kids mentioned above.

A friend of mine made me listen a while ago in his car (so it was, to be honest, a fleeting listen) Poets and Madmans. The listening didn’t spark much interest in me as I judged them to be just another pompous and arrogant power group like Manowar, if you know what I mean. In any case, I can always change my mind, but know that it depends entirely on you ;-D
