Katatonia For Funerals To Come

To begin with, both Dance on December Souls and Brave Murder Day are absolutely two excellent albums (the second one, in my opinion), and I am among those who prefer the albums from the gothic rock phase. But I reiterate, the fact remains that the aforementioned first two doom/gothic/death works (I wouldn't define them as black, in my view) are stunning and, in my opinion, even superior to the early extreme works of Paradise Lost (in fact, I dare say, in my opinion, distinctly superior). I am not familiar with the reviewed EP, but it seems like a good recommendation... Regards.

Alright, forget what I said then... a salute to your faraway land so fertile for metal... ;)

The review is, as usual, well done and reflects all your (just) admiration for the band. The album (call it Three Imaginary Boys or Boys Don't Cry, it’s the same for me) honestly doesn’t appeal to me much compared to the ones that followed, where the darker vein is more pronounced... Best regards.

Look, I honestly don't know why you took it so personally, considering I gave a high rating to the review.
Oh, one more thing, I’m perfectly aware of the differences between Tales.. and Eclipse..
I think you got the wrong person to refer to; you would have been better off telling Brizz, given the huge nonsense he said about Amorphis being a "shadow" band...
What the hell that even means, only he knows...

Brizz, to speak like that you certainly haven't even remotely heard Elegy and Tales...(maybe also Tuonela). Listen to them and then let me know. MAGNIFICENT albums, there’s little else that can compare...

Well done Kill, great review, even though the genre isn’t my cup of tea…

Festwca is right, it's a true re-recording of the self-titled debut.... Quick greetings to everyone..

I thank everyone for the generous comments...
Ah, Fé, but if you read carefully, you'll realize that this is nothing but the re-recording of the first album... eh, eh we are not paying attention... ;-D

Alright, Sfascia, far be it from me to argue, but I’d like to point out that I’m not exactly a youngling (almost 30, alas)...
@stinger: thanks ;)
